Fixed wire testing
Fixed wire testing is an excellent example of prevention being better than cure.
If there’s a personal accident in a building or damage to a property, the first thing the insurers will ask for is evidence that the building’s electrical wiring was safe at the time.
The only way to satisfy them is to produce an up-to-date Fixed Wire Test Certificate, which is where we come in.
Our engineers can survey and check all the electrical wiring in your premises, making sure you are safe and up to date with all the relevant rules and regulations.
With the test complete, we will issue either a satisfactory certificate valid for five years, or provide a schedule of the repairs needed to make the premises safe. We will then complete the work and issue a safety certificate.

We look after some of the City of London’s largest office blocks as well as some smaller premises.
We are used to testing in businesses that operate 24 hours 7 days a week so can attend and test with minimal to no disruption. If you would like to do the work over a longer period we can set up a maintenance programme and attend at set intervals. Weekends and night work are no problem.
As the work is done, we clearly label everything we test and identify, making future maintenance much easier for any staff or contractors.
Our preferred area of operations is central London, which means that – if you need us in an emergency – our staff are never too far away.
Residential Blocks
We specialise in this type of work and testing, with long working relationships with Managing Agents in the City.
We can attend and test with minimal to no disruption. If you would like to do the work over a longer period we can set up a maintenance programme and attend at set intervals. Weekends and night work are no problem.

Domestic properties
We are always happy to carry out fixed wire tests on domestic properties, including individual flats in residential blocks and terraced, semi-detached and detached houses.
Our fees for these services are straightforward.
Tests on properties with up to two bedrooms cost £150.00 +VAT each. Three bedroom properties cost £200.00 +VAT each.
The charges for testing larger properties are available on request.
